As part of its action program in favor of the southern wilayas (provinces), the National Office for Equipment and Accessories for Disabled People (ONAAPH) organized, from 1 to 3 May 2025, a medical and technical mission to Timimoun, for the benefit of approximately 50 people with hearing impairments.
This operation made it possible to carry out complete audiometric assessments, evaluate individual needs, and propose appropriate hearing aids, with the aim of improving the quality of life and social inclusion of the beneficiaries.
The activity was conducted in coordination with the Directorate of Social Action, the local authorities, and civil society, which helped ensure optimal conditions for the mission. This initiative reflects the ONAAPH's commitment to guaranteeing a public service close to citizens, particularly in remote areas, and to strengthening national solidarity through the effective care of persons with disabilities.
