On the occasion of the National Day of Persons with Disabilities, celebrated each year on 14 March, the National Office for Equipment and Accessories for Disabled People (ONAAPH) took part in several commemorative and media activities across the country.
The Office participated, in particular, in an exhibition organized by the Algiers Directorate of Social Action, showcasing its services, technological innovations, and orthopedic devices designed to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities. This participation helped raise public awareness of the importance of supporting and including this category of citizens.
At the same time, the ONAAPH's representative appeared on the program "Sabah El Djazaïr" ("Good Morning Algeria") on national television, where he presented the Office's main projects and services, notably the integration of modern technologies into the manufacture of appliances and the strengthening of partnerships with stakeholders in the sector.
For his part, the ONAAPH's Inspector General, Mr. Kamel Khoursi, announced on the airwaves of Algerian Radio several innovative projects, including the digitalization of services, the extension of geographic coverage towards the South, and the launch of a regional 3D-printing manufacturing station in Constantine.
Through these initiatives, the ONAAPH reaffirms its commitment to modernizing its services, facilitating access to orthopedic equipment, and promoting the social and professional inclusion of persons with specific needs throughout the national territory.
