As part of efforts to strengthen cooperation with associations working in the field of disability and the care of mine victims, Mr. Mohamed Mouidi, Director General of the National Office for Equipment and Accessories for Disabled People (ONAAPH), received, at the Office's headquarters, Mr. Youssef Rafai, President of the Algerian Association of Victims of Mines, Explosive Devices and Persons with Disabilities of the wilaya (province) of El Tarf, in the presence of the Office's senior central-level staff.
The meeting covered several areas, notably the study of a draft cooperation agreement between the Office and the Association, aimed at coordinating efforts in the care of mine victims and persons with specific needs. Discussions also addressed the organization of an information day intended to raise awareness of the services provided by the Office in the fields of the manufacture and fitting of prostheses, as well as the support of persons with disabilities.
This meeting forms part of the Office's social policy, which is centered on strengthening partnerships with civil society in the service of mine victims, with the aim of promoting the values of solidarity and social inclusion.
