On the occasion of the National Day of Older Persons, celebrated on 27 April each year, the National Office for Equipment and Accessories for Disabled People (ONAAPH) took part, on Monday 28 April 2025, in the activities organized by the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family Affairs and the Status of Women at the Ben Aknoun Family Centre.
This participation forms part of the ONAAPH's efforts to strengthen the care of vulnerable groups, particularly older persons with disabilities. The Office gave a presentation on its services aimed at improving beneficiaries' quality of life, through the provision of orthopedic appliances, compensatory equipment, and support programs run in coordination with the social security bodies.
Through this initiative, the ONAAPH reaffirms its commitment to the values of solidarity and dignity, and its active role in the protection and support of older persons, by contributing to their autonomy and well-being.
The event took place in the presence of several members of the government, including the Minister of National Solidarity, the Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Labor, and the Minister of Culture — reflecting the importance accorded by the authorities to this population.
