As part of its strategy to modernize and digitalize production, the National Office for Equipment and Accessories for Disabled People (ONAAPH) welcomed a delegation from a foreign company specialized in the design and manufacture of orthopedic appliances using the most advanced digital technologies.
The exchanges focused on prospects for technical cooperation and on the integration of innovative solutions such as 3D scanning, artificial intelligence, and the digital modelling of prostheses, with the aim of digitalizing the production process and improving the quality and precision of the devices intended for beneficiaries.
The Director General of the ONAAPH, Mr. Mohamed Mouidi, stressed the importance of this collaboration, stating that it will enable the institution to achieve a genuine technological transformation, increase its technical autonomy, and offer persons with disabilities tailored, high-performance solutions.
The meeting concluded with the creation of a joint technical committee, tasked with drawing up an operational roadmap for the implementation of the project. This initiative forms part of the digital transformation drive undertaken by the ONAAPH, aimed at improving the quality of services and promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities through the adoption of the most recent technologies.
