As part of the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Algeria and China, the National Office for Equipment and Accessories for Disabled People (ONAAPH) welcomed a delegation from the Chinese Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, on an official visit to Algeria at the invitation of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security.
The delegation visited the Algiers Production Unit, where it was briefed on the Office's missions and services, as well as on the technical standards and modern processes used in the manufacture of orthopedic appliances.
This visit provided an opportunity to exchange experience and to examine prospects for cooperation, particularly in the areas of training, technology transfer, and the development of the prosthetics industry in Algeria.
Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the existing level of collaboration and reaffirmed their determination to further strengthen bilateral partnership in the fields of social security and the care of persons with disabilities.
