If you are not affiliated with a social security organization
A medical file must first be prepared by consulting a specialist physician who will issue a medical certificate assessing your disability.
With this medical file, visit the social service office of your municipality (APC) or the Social Action Directorate (DAS) of your place of residence. They will issue you a disability certificate, allowing you to register with a social security organization.
Once you have your social insurance card, simply follow steps 1 to 4 mentioned above.
Without social security coverage
In this case, the full cost of the product, orthopedic device, and/or assistive equipment is borne entirely by the patient. The acquisition process follows steps 1, 2, and 4 described above. Please note that submission of a medical prescription from your attending physician (as an external document) remains essential.
