Renewed Governance and a Development Vision to Improve the Quality of Care for Persons with Disabilities

 

As part of efforts to establish effective governance and improve the quality of public services for persons with disabilities, a second meeting of the Board of Directors was held on 23 December 2025, devoted to the study and discussion of the action plan for the year 2026, within the framework of implementing the directives of the supervising ministry aimed at strengthening governance, improving performance, and delivering a public service that meets the expectations of persons with disabilities.es handicapées. 

During this meeting, the members of the Board welcomed the progress achieved in several strategic projects, foremost among them the project to establish a Training and Practice Academy in the field of orthopedic appliances and their accessories, the opening of which is scheduled for early 2026. This academy will represent a qualitative advance in the field of training and specialized rehabilitation,and will serve as an essential lever for the development of professional and technical skills — an advance that will translate into an improvement in the quality of the services offered to beneficiaries. 

In its final statement, the Board reaffirmed the Office's commitment to the principles of transparency, effectiveness, and accountability in the management of its missions, as well as the continuation of efforts to improve the public service, optimize care mechanisms, and strengthen inclusion and empowerment, in keeping with a vision that regards the person with a disability as a full participant in society.
