As part of its missions aimed at improving the care of persons with disabilities, the National Office for Equipment and Accessories for Disabled People (ONAAPH), in coordination with the Directorate of Social Action and Solidarity of the wilaya (province) of M'Sila, organized, on Monday 29 September 2025, a technical and medical mission devoted to the maintenance of hearing aids for the benefit of pupils at the M'Sila school for hearing-impaired children.
The aim of this initiative is to ensure the proper functioning of hearing devices, to strengthen the school integration of the pupils concerned, and to improve their quality of life through regular and appropriate technical interventions.
This operation forms part of the national social protection strategy, which is founded on strengthening cooperation between national institutions and local authorities, as well as on improving schooling and care conditions in specialized educational establishments.
The expected results of this mission will contribute to improving the effectiveness of hearing aid maintenance, guaranteeing their continuous use by pupils, and strengthening families' confidence in the quality of the services offered, with the prospect of extending this type of intervention to other wilayas.
